Taste of Thai began with a dream to share our comfort food with our hometown. We are rooted in family values, bringing vibrant flavors of Thailand to our backyard. We are grateful to be a part of the vibrant community of Harrisonburg.
Where it Began
Founded in 1999, Taste of Thai began as a small family effort to share the food we grew up with. What started in a modest kitchen has grown alongside the Harrisonburg community—one dish at a time.We’ve stayed close to what mattered from the beginning: cooking with care, staying consistent, and treating every guest like they belong here. That foundation still guides everything we do today.

Our food is rooted in tradition, but defined by discipline. Recipes passed down over time are only part of the story—what matters is how they’re executed, day in and day out.
We focus on balance, freshness, and consistency. No shortcuts, no chasing trends—just food that holds up, whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth.

For decades, the Harrisonburg community has supported us—and that trust means everything. We’ve had the privilege of serving generations of guests, from local families to students and visitors discovering Thai food for the first time.
We’re honored to have been consistently recognized with Best of the Valley awards for Thai and Asian food. More than anything, we’re grateful to be a part of the local dining community—and we’re here to continue that tradition.
